Best Season to Visit Sarchu:

The best time of the year to visit Sarchu is during months of June to October as the weather remains pleasant and favorable for the visitors. One can also visit Sarchu during summers as the place remains cool with maximum temperature hovering around mid 20 degrees. It is not advisable to visit the place during months of winter from November to February because the region experiences severe snowfalls and landslides. Meaning & History of Sangli:

Sangli is derived from Marathi word “Saha Galli” meaning six lanes. Sangli was found by Harbhat Patwardhan and is also called as Natyapandhari, the original birthplace of Marathi drama.
