Pakuba is a village situated in Nwoya District in the Acholi sub-region of Northern Uganda. It is located on the bank of Albert Nile River in the Murchison Falls Conservation Area at an elevation of 780 meters between 02°20′06″ N latitude and 31°28′12″ E longitude. Pakuba is located around 95 km northwest of the town of Masindi and 300 km northwest of the national capital, Kampala.

Pakuba gained prominence for its position within Murchison Falls Conservation Area, which covers Murchison Falls National Park, Bugungu Wildlife Reserve and Karuma Wildlife Reserve, most importantly an amazing natural beauty Murchison Falls.

 

How to reach Pakuba?

Pakuba is the site of Pakuba Airport, which probably doesn’t operate scheduled flights but it receives charter flights during high season. The Kabalega Falls Airport is located around 15 km away from Pakuba with charter flight services.

Pakuba is situated around 275 km from the country’s primary airport, Entebbe International Airport. This airport receives flights from many African, European and Asian cities including Johannesburg, London and Dubai.

Generally there are buses plying between Pakuba and Kampala and its number substantially increases during peak season.

Moyo is a town under Moyo District in the Northern Uganda region of the African country, Uganda. It houses district headquarters and is situated around 140 kilometers from the town of Arua and 455 kilometers from Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. Geographically Moyo is located at an elevation of 820 meters between 03°39′18″ N latitude and 31°43′12″ E longitude.

Connectivity to Moyo:

Moyo Airport is located around 6 km southeast of the heart of Moyo, served by Eagle Air Uganda with scheduled flights to/from Entebbe International Airport, the most important airport of Uganda. History of Masindi:
