There is a motorable road available to reach the falls and vehicles can be hired from Kigga. A little walk is required from the parking place to reach the falls through well-laid steps.</p>
<p>It is one of the many waterfalls located on the Western Ghats. It is a splendid fall with a beautiful view. The water feeds the coffee estates and paddy fields located downstream. <li>There are also some temples at this place which one can visit. Before people were allowed to enter the hydro electric station and have a look at the place but then due to some other problems like terrorism that facility was blocked by the government.</li>

<p>There are no amenities like shops, shelter and Wash rooms available at this place. The uncontaminated surrounding of this place makes this place look better.</p>

In the Western Ghats of the south there is this mind-blowing falls present that is the Lalguli Falls, which is placed at an altitude of around 900m.</p>

<p>Lalguli Falls is a lesser known waterfall in Uttara Kannada district. Lalguli is a multi stage waterfall where River Kali drops down at different places, with heights varying between 61 and 91 meters. Lalguli offers scenic beauty and photogenic views with green forests, calm and blissful surroundings.</p>
<p>The natural beauty of Lalgulli Falls is also blessed with a number of birds making it a delight for bird-watchers. When visiting this place, tourists can also pay a visit to a Hanuman Temple that is located near the hill.</p>

<p>It is placed in the Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka. It is placed at around 15km from Yellapur, 60Km from Kumta, 220Km from Dabolimand, 515 Km from Bangalore.</p>

This place is also related to the lord Veerabhadra. The specialty of this fall is that anyone taking bath under this would surely cure his or her health problems. The fauna and fauna around this place would make one go mesmerizing. This place is a nice hang out for anyone to move away from his or her normal polluted life.</p>

<p>The Kalahati falls is placed in kallantipura, Chikamagalur district in Karnataka. This place is around 250km from the center of Bangalore, about 170km from Mangalore and 10 km from Kemmangundi.</p>

<p>The Iruppu falls falling from a height of 170 feet offers a spectacular sight to its onlookers. The river bounces upon rocks giving an uneven velocity to it. The surrounding wildlife and vegetation provides scintillating natural scenery to its viewers. Iruppu Falls is a very significant holy place and pilgrimage centre. A Shiva temple has been constructed on the banks of river Lakshmana thirtha. On every Maha Shivratri people gather here from all over the country, they take a dip in the chaste river Lakshmana thirtha which is a tributary of Kaveri. A huge amount of people gather and in the evening a grand function is organized which comprises of prayers to Lord Shiva by Pandits and food is distributed among beggars.</p>

<p>Iruppu falls and temple is located at a distance of 20Km from Nagarahole national park and 50Km from Madikeri. You will take almost an hour from Madikeri, in Coorg to reach this place. Also Virajpet village is about 48 kms. Falls are sited on the outskirts of Brahmagiri hill range in the Western Ghats. A tributary of the waterfall joins Cauvery River to form Lakshmana Teertha.</p>
